Definity Communication Servers

Avaya DEFINITY® Servers offer a scalable solution with the ability to grow without changing an entire communication system. Both IP and circuit switched calls are supported with DEFINITY Servers. The Avaya DEFINITY® Server CSI targets small to mid-size customers ranging from 50-250 users while the DEFINITY Server SI & R targets mid to large customers ranging from 200-35000 users. The present DEFINITY Server offerings are being upgraded and migrated to the new Communication Manager platform. With this migration, customers are able to retain up to 100% of their original Definity product investment.

Communication Manager

Avaya Communication Manager integrates telephony call processing, call control, messaging, contact center, and a widely accepted application programming interface into a highly scalable architecture designed to support both circuit-based and IP-based telephony within a distributed enterprise communications network. Communication Manager is the next generation of Avaya call processing software. Designed as an open, scalable, and highly reliable telephony solution, it effectively scales from under 100 users to as many as 36,000 on a single system and to more than one million users on a single network.

Designed to run on a variety of Media Servers, Communication Manager provides centralized call control for a resilient, distributed network of media gateways and a wide range of analog, digital, and IP-based communication devices. As the core telephony software for Avaya MultiVantage™ Communication Applications, it gives enterprises the flexibility to introduce advanced IP telephony solutions as needed while leveraging their existing DEFINITY® system investments.

IP Office

Avaya IP Office is an all-in-one solution specially designed to meet the communications challenges facing small and medium sized businesses. Due to its modular design, the solution can scale from 2 to 360 extensions to meet the needs of home offices, standalone businesses, and networked branch and head offices. Built on Avaya's latest advancements in converged voice and data technology, small to mid-sized businesses can benefit from many of the advantages sophisticated communications deliver to their operations.

Avaya IP Office is ideally suited for businesses with between 2 and 100 extensions, but can easily scale up to 360 endpoints and more than 200 analog and digital trunks (up to 96 trunks; 192 analog trunks).

Avaya one-X Quick Edition

Avaya one-X™ Quick Edition delivers intelligent communications to small offices. SIP-based peer-to-peer technology means set-up is simple, with powerful options to customize. Quick Edition delivers business class communication features including voice mail and auto-attendant and rich call management features including Call Forward, Conferencing, Park, Page and Retrieve to create a professional business image. Quick Edition can connect multiple remote branches and enables central management. Now even small offices can equip home workers with the same features they have in the office.

Quick Edition eliminates the need for a central server without eliminating performance. Embedding communication software in the phones removes cost and increases reliability. It is scalable, too. As you add employees, simply add additional telephones. Should your business needs change, in the future Quick Edition phones will be upgradeable to more advanced Avaya solutions. Quick Edition truly provides a simple, cost-effective, and connected business communication system.

MERLIN MAGIX® Integrated System

The Avaya MERLIN MAGIX® Integrated System is a public branch exchange (PBX) with a built-in ability to emulate a traditional key system. The system uses a single platform to deliver key communications capabilities—from basic voice to Internet access—making it highly cost-effective and easy to install, service, maintain, and grow. This solution is ideal for small companies looking for the latest communications features, as well as for larger companies who can install this system in their branch offices. The system's networking capabilities enable multiple locations to communicate across the public switched telephone network (PSTN) or across an Internet Protocol (IP) network. The MERLIN MAGIX® Integrated System supports up to 80 lines and 200 telephones.

PARTNER® Advanced Communications System

Reliability, simplicity, a large selection of advanced telephony features, and converged communications through "business ready" digital subscriber lines (DSLs) or fractional T1 make the PARTNER® Advanced Communications System ideal for small growing businesses. The maximum system configuration is 19 lines and 44 extensions.
